The sun is the archetypal symbol of growth and life. I like the beginning of a Pueblo tale “Long ago the Lord of the Sun sent the spark of life to earth”. My interest in folklore and mythology has often inspired my sun designs. I
depict the sun as stylized motifs using circular patterns, geometric lines and shapes, spirals, and the beautiful inlay of gold foil in the enamel.
